Pine House, Wēiti Bay

Working with Nick Rowe Architecture, our team successfully obtained resource consent to construct a new dwelling on the subject site. Consent was required for the construction of a dwelling in the Wēiti Precinct sub-precinct A, for earthworks greater than 1000sq.m and 250cu.m and for a vehicle crossing width exceedance. In addition, consent was required for structures not provided as a permitted activity within the outstanding natural landscape overlay.

Overall, it was considered that the proposal would have actual and potential effects on the environment that were acceptable. The proposal was consistent with the objectives, policies and assessment criteria of the Auckland Unitary Plan (Operative in Part) and the purpose and principles of the RMA
